The New Deliverance Christian Academy was established in Spring 2000. It is the realization of the vision imparted to Bishop Gerald O. Glenn, wherein the Academy, as an extension of the New Deliverance Evangelistic Church, would provide high quality, academic training, in a Christian environment to the members, friends and supporters of the ministry and the community at-large. We partner with parents to lay a solid foundation in four areas, academically, socially, morally, and spiritually.

With the aid and assistance of the Lord, the Academy has grown in size and concept, since it's inception. Originally organized as a religious-exempt daycare, caring for infants and toddlers, that Academy has now become one of the region's premier Christian learning institutions for youngsters between the ages of 2 and a half to 10 years old, serving families throughout the Greater Richmond Metropolitan Area. Our staff consists of teachers, teacher's assistants and administrators.

Under the leadership of former Executive Director, Marcietia S. Glenn, the Academy implemented the nationally recognized, A Beka program and now offers curriculum- based classes ranging from toddler to 4th grade.

In 2006, the Academy hired Mrs. Mar-Gerie Crawley for the position of Director. Mrs. Crawley continues to serve as Director and it is her desire that each year the Academy is better than the year before!

In 2011, NDCA reopened the nursery class for infants ranging from 6 weeks old to 2 and a half years old. In the early days of the nursery we started with one staff person and 4 babies. Today, we have 4 staff persons and 12 little ones in the Nursery. There is constant demand for that class, causing us to have a waiting list year round.

In 2016, NDCA committed to implementing a new grade each year. Third grade was added and it was a major success. So much so, in 2017, Fourth grade was birthed and Fifth grade was held in 2018 and 2019.

With the number of families seeking a quality Christian education, NDCA continues to grow daily. Each year there will be bigger and better changes being made to enhance the unparalleled experience provided here at the Academy!
